How can you ski or snowboard if YOUR's just got stolen!? It can be a monumentally expensive challenge to get back out there. Either you have to save up a bunch of money that should be going towards some other activity OR something trivial like rent/mortgage or other unFun bill-related monetary destination. You might not be able to get out doing what you love...for possibly the rest of the season! And all because some scumbag thought stealing skis or boards (or bikes) was OK.
Well it's the furthest thing from OK! Karma Army has designed a program specifically to Hook Each Other UP and get those who have suffered a theft, back out on the hill, the trail or road, etc. We feel one of the biggest tragedies would be for someone whose board just got stolen NOT to come back to the sport because they can't afford a new one, or they might have tried it a few times, been on the fence about the sport and now decide NOT to come back. Our sport, our Industry and quite frankly, America needs that dude back out on the hill! Staying active, healthy and enjoying the outdoors. Not glued to their Xbox.

Solution - Hook A Member UP! Someone within our community HAS an extra board in their quiver that they can loan for the remainder of the season OR sell on the super cheap.
It's all about Good Karma and being part of a community that actually gives a sh*t about each other! Rather than saying, "Too bad about that dude's board", which is kind of like saying "Sucks for him." Now you can do something about it and be proactive about helping someone out. If you don't have a spare board, or skis or bike, etc., chances are pretty good you know someone that does.
Let's Hook each other UP, make a new buddy, whether locally or all the way across the country; you can make the difference between riding or having no choice to ride.

So we'd like to INTRO:

The program works like this (for example):
- Your snowboard gets stolen at a resort while you go in for lunch.
- You put out a KarmaAlert for your stolen board - time goes by with no luck in recovering your board.
- You don't have the money to buy a new one, but it's killing you watching the season go by.
